Canned tuna, a specialty of Shimizu, is actually part of an eco-friendly system that contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This spot will use AR to introduce the entire process from catching the tuna to using the tuna bones as fertilizer for growing Shimizu’s famous mandarin oranges.

Learn about SDGs from canned tuna in the space in front of Chibi Maruko-chan Land. We will introduce the topic, “”What does it mean that canned tuna, a specialty of Shimizu, also supports local agriculture?”” in AR.

When you enter Chibi Maruko-chan Land, you can take a commemorative photo with AR Maruko-chan and Tama-chan.

- “Let’s experience Suruga Bay’s sea creatures and Mt. Fuji up close in AR!” is a demonstration experiment at sea. Therefore, depending on the signal strength or your device, it may not always be usable.
The AR experience on the Suruga Bay Ferry should be available within 30 minutes of departure from Shimizu Port and 30 minutes after departing from Toi Port, when the signal is strong. Otherwise, it may not be usable. It may also be unusable due to weather conditions, even during the above time frames.
*The same AR experience can be enjoyed on the Shimizu Port Cruise, a sightseeing ship with a view of Mt. Fuji that takes passengers around Shimizu Port. - An advance reservation is required for the Sushi Making Class.
